| I heard about the firm from through my school's
program to bring CPA firms to the campus, and then did just
what you are doing right now. I visited W&G's website,
and was struck that it was very different from other firms'.
I liked it better because of its look, organization, style
and especially its information on careers, so I figured that
maybe it wasn't just the website-the firm was different. I
had a plan for what I was seeking in a firm; I didn't want
to have to worry about internal politics, and was pretty sure
that could be an issue at a larger firm. So a midsize firm
seemed like the best choice.
It became clear after I interviewed with Jules Frankel that
this firm really is different. During my interview, time seemed
to pass very quickly, and I was concerned that perhaps I was
doing a poor job of asking the right questions. But Jules
was very patient and helped me feel comfortable so we could
explore my interests and whether or not it was a good fit.
It was definitely my best interview experience, and it led
to my summer internship here, which in turn, led to my joining
the firm.
Every firm expects that you'll be there for them, but what's
unique here is that they're always there for you when you
need them. Whenever I've had an issue, the door has been open
to anyone I've needed to speak with for help. It's allowed
me to focus on my job, without any negative consequences.
I just love working here, and feel that it is a great place
for me to enjoy a long career. The respect and support they've
given me has helped me to build my professional confidence
and self-esteem, and I'm sure I'm more productive because
of that. It's because the firm appreciates me as an individual,
and is completely committed to helping me fulfill my potential
while being recognized and rewarded for my efforts. It seems
like every firm says this, but Wilkin & Guttenplan actually
does it. |
