Biography

Maureen Jasper, a shareholder at WilkinGuttenplan, has been with the firm since 2003. She is a tax professional with a specialization in providing tax consulting and compliance services to her clients.

Her clients include high-net-worth individuals, various types of trusts, estates, multi-state corporations and partnerships, and closely held businesses. Maureen’s knowledge extends beyond compliance and encompasses tax planning, tax research, and estate and succession planning.

Maureen is actively involved in various administrative functions of the firm, including training tax department members, coordinating schedules among the tax department, and coaching young team members to become the firm’s future leaders through the firm’s Professional Growth Academy. She is also involved in administrating tax-related software within the firm.

Positive personalities that surround me and make me want to become a better person, both in business and personally.

What is your favorite part of the culture at WG?

The people make the culture at WG. Without the positive attitudes, encouragement, and support of not only partners but the staff, the culture would not exist.

If you weren’t an accountant/consultant, what would you be?

I would work in the health and fitness industry and also, do something so I can work with animals!

What advice would you give to the next generation of CPAs and Advisors?

This is an exciting time for the industry, don’t be afraid to ask for more responsibility and raise your hand for more challenges. Those above you are looking forward to sharing the responsibilities and helping you move forward to become future leaders.
