Biographical Information:
Daniel E. Manning is a manager at Wilkin & Guttenplan, P.C., and has been with the firm since 1998. Dan divides his time between commercial audit work, the real estate industry and performing tax and accounting services for closely held businesses.
Dan's real estate expertise includes audits of CIRAs, sponsor transition procedures, preparation of financial forecasts for new construction, and tax preparation for non-CIRA real estate entities.
His internal audit experience includes Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Compliance for a major client in the retail industry. As part of the engagement, Dan supervised a team of internal auditors in documenting and testing the company’s internal controls over financial reporting.
Dan also contributes to the development of the firm's staff. He often participates in the firm's intern and staff training and orientation programs and is well versed in accounting software packages for small and medium-sized businesses.
In addition, Dan was responsible for the creation of the firm's intranet and continues to manage the content and navigation of the site.
