Biographical Information:
Karen A. Schirmacher, CPA, MST, has more than 20 years of public accounting experience. She is a tax professional with extensive expertise in providing tax planning, research, and compliance services to closely-held businesses and their owners in a variety of industries including real estate, manufacturing, restaurants, and professional service firms. Karen’s experience also includes assisting clients with tax audits as well as analyzing the tax aspects of acquisitions and dispositions of business interests.
Prior to joining the firm, Karen was a partner with a regional CPA firm. Additionally, she was also previously a tax manager at an international CPA firm.
