Biography

Abe Kleiman, a shareholder at WilkinGuttenplan, has over 40 years of experience with co-ops and condos, other real estate entities, and closely held businesses. He’s advised co-ops and condos in all areas, including audit, tax, financial workouts, internal control, accounting systems, annual and long-term budgeting, and accumulating and investing reserves. He has frequently lectured and been quoted in numerous articles about co-ops and condos.

Prior to joining WilkinGuttenplan, Abe co-founded Kleiman & Weinshank LLP, a New York City CPA firm specializing in housing cooperatives and condominiums.

What would you be doing if you were not an accountant?

If I weren’t an accountant, I’d be a travel writer, traveling the world in search of unique and exotic destinations.

What’s your next big adventure?

My next big adventure is an African (Photo) Safari.

My proudest professional achievement is managing Kleiman & Weinshank to become one of the premier New York City CPA firms specializing in housing cooperatives and condominiums.
