Mohammed Salyani was inducted into the CAI-NJ Hall of Fame on February 19 at the CAI-NJ Awards Dinner.

The CAI-NJ Hall of Fame honors members who demonstrate sustained leadership, service, and impact within the community association industry.

Mohammed joined CAI-NJ in approximately 2005 and has served the chapter in numerous leadership roles. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2015 and served through 2020, including as President in 2019.

He also spent many years on the Conference & Expo Committee and served as Chair in 2010. That year, the committee earned Committee of the Year honors, and Mohammed received Chair of the Year recognition. In 2015, CAI-NJ named him Speaker of the Year. He continues to support the chapter through his work on the Legislative Action Committee.

Reflecting on his involvement, Mohammed has said that CAI plays a vital role in strengthening community living. The organization supports volunteer board members by providing education, guidance, and professional expertise.

During the ceremony, the outgoing CAI-NJ President highlighted the number of careers in the room that Mohammed had influenced — a testament to the broad and lasting impact of his service across the industry.

His induction into the CAI-NJ Hall of Fame recognizes both his longstanding contributions and his continued leadership within the community association field.
