David is the New York Condominiums & Cooperatives Practice Leader and specializes in providing audit, tax, and consulting services to real estate entities, including cooperative corporations, condominiums, and residential apartment complexes. He works closely with boards of cooperative corporations and condominiums, advising them on audits, tax planning, mixed-use allocations, annual and long-term budgeting, and reserve funding and investment strategies.

David has been with the firm since 2006. Before joining WilkinGuttenplan, he worked at a public accounting firm providing audit, accounting, and tax services to a diverse client base.

What excites you most about the future of your industry?

Every year CPA’s/Accountants are needed more and more as the accounting industry becomes more complex. This pushes us to learn something new every day and be better than yesterday.

What is your favorite part of the culture at WG?

The care the partners have for the employees of WG.

If you weren’t an accountant/consultant, what would you be?

I would be a ski patroller.  I always loved skiing, but I always knew it was not a long-term career.
