Biography

Brian D. Geissler, a Shareholder at WilkinGuttenplan, joined the firm in 1997 with the McDevitt & Company, P.C. merger. Brian has a broad range of clientele including family limited partnerships, multi-state consolidated corporations, grantor-type trusts, high net-worth estates, non-resident alien individuals and officers of major corporations.

Brian’s knowledge in Federal and State taxation extends far beyond the compliance aspect and encompasses planning, research, computer software, and audits. Major areas of taxation include real estate related entities, closely held businesses, and estates and trusts. Brian is involved in the training of new staff in the Tax Department of WilkinGuttenplan, as well as keeping up with the ever-changing world of tax-related software.

  • Brian graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He continues his education through regular continuing professional education (CPE) and educational seminars.
