Tom is responsible for ensuring the security, performance, and availability of technology for the firm. He also leads the firm’s internal software development efforts, building tools and platforms that support firm strategy and drive innovation. Tom is responsible for creating and executing the firm’s IT strategy and leads the firm’s adoption of artificial intelligence, both within the technology team and across the firm at large.
Tom also manages the firm’s Technology Services practice. He works with clients in the professional services and healthcare industries and consults on operational, strategic, and security matters, including how clients can adopt and govern emerging technologies.
Tom is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, a globally recognized certification that ensures security leaders maintain current knowledge of threats, technologies, regulations, standards, and practices.
Tom has nearly two decades of experience in the IT field and is active in the BDO Alliance USA IT community, the NJ chapter of ISC2, and is a member of InfraGard. He speaks regularly on IT and security topics.
Before joining WilkinGuttenplan in 2009, Tom worked as an engineer for a regional managed service provider.

A mechanical engineer.
What motivates you?
I love learning about new systems and processes and then breaking them down to help explain them to others, explore new ways to use them or find out why they aren’t working as expected.
