Peer Review

Peer Review

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Peer Review Program requires that CPA firms with an accounting or audit practice must undergo peer review. The Peer Review Program is dedicated to enhancing the quality of accounting, audit and attestation services.

WilkinGuttenplan is a full-service CPA firm that provides peer review services for other CPA firms in New Jersey and the tri-state area. With a commitment to quality, as evidenced by over 15 years of having passed our own peer reviews, our expertise allows us to provide other firms with efficient and practical reviews that are designed to improve their practice and enhance quality control policies and procedures.

Expertise

Selecting the right peer reviewer is critical in order for your firm to realize the full benefit of a peer review. Ideally, the peer reviewer’s experience should align with your firm’s areas of expertise so that you can obtain maximum efficiency and insight from the review. By drawing on the diverse experience of our professionals, your firm can benefit from our expertise.

WilkinGuttenplan provides both systems and engagement reviews. We also provide consultation on monitoring and pre-issuance engagement reviews. Our client base includes closely-held/middle market businesses and their owners, high net worth individuals, medical/healthcare practices, not-for-profits and a multitude of real estate entities. We also provide services under A-133, HUD, and ERISA. The firm is a member of the Private Company Practice Center of the AIPCA, the AICPA Employee Benefit Audit Quality Center and the AICPA Government Audit Quality Center.
