Wilkin & Guttenplan, P.C. (WilkinGuttenplan) is proud to announce its participation in the Rider University CPA Apprenticeship Program (RUCPA), the first of its kind to aid future CPAs in earning their licensure in New Jersey.

The introduction of the Rider University CPA Apprenticeship Program will streamline the path to CPA licensure in New Jersey. The RUCPA offers newly graduated accounting professionals a unique opportunity to earn college credit for their real-world accounting experiences through paid employment. Rider’s AACSB-accredited accounting program faculty supervises the course, enhancing the CPA qualification process.

Acceptances into the program will begin in May. WilkinGuttenplan, Rider’s first partnering firm, is pleased to be among other leaders and experts who are passionate about paving the way for future accountants. Dan Fiorentino, Managing Shareholder, said the following: “We are deeply honored, immensely grateful, and incredibly excited for the opportunity to be at the forefront of such an innovation. What Rider has assembled is not only advantageous for their institution and our firm, but it also stands as a testament to the advancement of the accounting profession as a whole.”

Interested participants must possess a bachelor’s degree and core accounting classes at fewer than 150 credit hours and gain employment, working more than 34 hours per week.
