Wilkin & Guttenplan, P.C. (WilkinGuttenplan) is thrilled to announce the addition of a new Principal, Bryan Saftlas, CPA, effective July 1, 2019.

As a Principal, Bryan will provide high-quality service to WilkinGuttenplan clients and strengthen the firm’s vision for the future. He will be providing leadership and training in the firm’s Audit & Assurance service line. Bryan offers a wide range of skills, both technically and managerially to our team.

Bryan Saftlas has over 20 years of experience. He specializes in audit and advisory services for a variety of industries such as consumer products, technology, life sciences, private equity funds, hedge funds, and broker-dealers. He provides these services to both private companies and SEC filers. He has significant experience providing guidance to clients on issues related to SEC rules and regulations, U.S. GAAP, and IFRS. Bryan also focuses on business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, reverse mergers, revenue recognition, equity-based compensation, initial public offerings, secondary offerings, and debt offerings.

Bryan has served as an adjunct professor in the accounting department of Rutgers University’s School of Business. He has also been a featured speaker on technical accounting topics on a national level for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as for the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. In 2014, NJBIZ included Bryan on its “Forty Under 40” list for his outstanding contributions to the New Jersey business community, the accounting industry, and community service.
